How To Set Up TikTok LIVE Interactive Roblox (TikControl Up!!) Complete Beginner Tutorial
Viewers can send gifts to control your interactive Roblox stream. The game in this guide is TikControl UP!. You will install it, link your Roblox ID inside TikControl, map gifts and other engagement to in-game effects, test those effects, then add the overlay to your streaming software.
You will need:
a Roblox account verified as an adult;
the latest TikControl Windows app;
the correct TikTok account connected inside TikControl;
TikTok LIVE Studio, OBS Studio, Meld Studio or Streamlabs if you want the overlay on stream.

Check Roblox before you open TikControl
Start on the Roblox website even if you already have the game installed. Create an account or log in.
Open the settings cog, then Settings, and confirm you are verified as an adult. If that is already done, leave it.
Next, open Profile on the left. Your Roblox ID is the number in the URL at the top of that page. Leave the tab open. You will copy that number into TikControl in a minute.
If you do not already have the Roblox client, download Roblox as well.
Open TikControl and confirm the TikTok account
Open TikControl. If you already have it installed, opening the app is enough for it to auto-update. If not, download it from the website with this TikControl link.
Go to Settings and Account at the top and check that the correct TikTok account is connected. Do this before linking Roblox so you do not test against the wrong LIVE account.
Link TikControl UP! with your Roblox ID
Open Gaming. It may sit at the top or down the side. Find TikControl UP!, either from the list or by sorting to Roblox, then open the Game panel fully.
There is not much setup on this page. The important field is your Roblox ID.
Go back to the Roblox profile tab, highlight the number in the URL and copy it with Ctrl + C. Return to TikControl, paste it with Ctrl + V, then press Link and Connect. Confirm the checkbox if TikControl asks you to. The page should then say connected.
That only links the account. Roblox itself is still separate.
Launch the game from TikControl
In TikControl, press Play. That opens the TikControl UP! page. Press play there as well.
Your browser may ask for permission to open the Roblox Game Client. Allow it. After a few seconds the game loads. Full-screen it once you are inside.
Basic controls:
hold the right mouse button to move the camera;
use WASD to move;
press spacebar to jump.
Map gifts to in-game effects
Back in TikControl, scroll to Gifts and Events. Search for a gift and choose it. A rose is a sensible first example.
A game-effect selector appears. It may default to Jail, but you have a choice of 20 effects. Some names are unclear until you test them, so pick one you can see immediately. For the rose, Quick Descent is a clean first test: it moves you down one step.
Keep Roblox and TikControl side by side while you test. Enter the game, set the gift quantity to 1, then press Test. You should drop one step.
Add more gifts the same way. Sunglasses is a useful second example. In the video, that gift was mapped to jail, and a quantity of 10 kept Harry in prison for 10 seconds before releasing him. Treat quantity as part of the effect you are testing, not a guess.
Use Viewer Simulator before you go LIVE
Scroll down to Viewer Simulator. Enter a test name, choose an event you have already set up, such as rose / Quick Descent, then send the event. The same step-down should happen in Roblox.
You can also test effects without assigning a gift first. Pick something such as Meteor, send it, and watch how strong it is. In the video, a meteor hit Harry and reset him to the bottom. Use that to decide which effects belong on higher-value gifts.
Add follows, shares, likes, Super Fans and chat commands
Further down the same page you can assign effects to other engagement:
Super Fans;
shares;
likes;
follows;
a specific chat command.
These need to be toggled on. After you turn one on, choose the effect from the dropdown.
A follow can help you. In the video, Quick Ascent was set so each new follower sent Harry up 50 steps.
Shares and Super Fans work the same way. Likes are different because you also set a minimum. The example threshold was 20 likes before the effect fires.
Chat commands are added separately. Type something such as `!jail` and press Add. Then check the assigned effect. In the video, the new command sat on Jail only because jail is first in the list. Open the three-dot menu if you need to confirm the command text, then choose the effect you actually want.
You can click effects in the list to remind yourself what they do, but the in-game tests are clearer.
Review the in-game settings, then ignore the in-game Events numbers
Full-screen Roblox and open Settings.
Apply and reset sends you back to the bottom of the course. Use that when you want a clean test.
You can also change the goal distance. The default in the video was 1000 meters. Changing it to 800 and applying it updated the goal immediately. Tweak this for how long you want a run to last.
The in-game Events tab is less useful for live values. TikControl overrides those numbers. In the video, Epic Wins Plus was 30 in TikControl and 5 in the game; the test moved the score by 5, from -25 to -20, which matched the in-game test control rather than the TikControl mapping. Use that tab to press Test and see an effect, not as the place you configure your real gift values.
A couple of extra game notes from the same test run:
if the Guardian reaches 0% health, you can lose a win;
the glove can knock you back;
Guardian health can be changed in settings;
the bottom platform shows helpful versus hindering gifts;
there is a TikControl leaderboard you can click for who has been running the game most.
Add the overlay to LIVE Studio, OBS, Meld or Streamlabs
Back in TikControl, open the overlay section. The preview shows viewers what each gift or action will do. In the video, sunglasses showed a jail icon plus the quantity.
Customise the overlay until it fits your stream, then press Copy URL. The same URL works in TikTok LIVE Studio, OBS Studio, Meld Studio and Streamlabs.
In LIVE Studio:
Choose Add Source.
Choose Link and add it.
Paste the URL with Ctrl + V.
Set the custom resolution to 1080 x 1920.
Add the source.
Select it and use Fit to Screen.
Drag the handles until it looks right on your canvas.
Rename it, for example `TikControl Up Overlay`.
If the first add lands at the wrong size, that is normal. Fit, resize, then tweak the custom resolution again if you still need to.
TikControl is more than this Roblox game
Interactive Roblox is only one part of TikControl. Premium adds more, but the free tier is still useful: the Community tab has detailed LIVE analytics, the Battle section is strong if you run battles, and the Events tab helps you organise streams and a calendar.
