Open TikControl And Connect Your TikTok Account

Once you’ve installed and opened TikControl, look in the bottom-left corner if you need to change the language.

Next, go to Settings and log in to TikTok. This connects TikControl to the correct TikTok account, which is essential if you want viewer gifts, comments, or other LIVE events to trigger actions.

Open The Gaming Section

After your TikTok account is connected, click Gaming at the top of TikControl.

This is where you’ll find the interactive game library. TikControl includes a large list of different games and integrations, so the exact setup steps will vary depending on which game you choose.

The basic idea is usually the same: a viewer sends a TikTok gift, reaches a minimum diamond amount, or triggers another supported event, and TikControl makes something happen inside your game.

Install The Required Game Files

Choose a game from the list on the left.

Each game may need different files or mods installed before it works. For example, if you’re setting up a GTA 5 Chaos mod, TikControl will show the available setup buttons and files for that specific game.

Work through the buttons shown for your chosen game and install anything TikControl says is required.

Add Viewer Commands

Once your game is set up, scroll down inside the game page and look for the available commands.

These are the actions your viewers can trigger during your TikTok LIVE. For example, in a GTA 5 setup, you might see options like spawning an armed attacker or triggering another in-game event.

To add one of these commands, press the plus button next to it.

Choose The Gift Or Diamond Requirement

After selecting a command, set it up like a normal TikControl action.

You can choose what viewers need to do to trigger it. Usually, this means choosing a specific TikTok gift or setting a minimum diamond amount.

For example, you could choose the Rose gift so that whenever a viewer sends a Rose, TikControl triggers that command in your game.

Depending on the command, you may also see extra custom options. You can adjust these if needed, or keep the default settings if you’re happy with them.

Once you’re done, press Add Command.

TikControl should then confirm that the command has been added successfully.

Add The Gaming Overlay To Your Stream

TikControl also gives you an overlay preview for your interactive game commands.

This overlay is useful because it shows viewers what they need to send to trigger each action. Without an overlay, viewers may not know which gifts control which parts of the game.

To add it, click Overlay Gaming.

You’ll then have two main options:

You can copy the overlay URL and add it to your streaming software as a browser or link source.

Or, if you have the paid version of TikControl, you can use the overlay editor and add the gaming HUD from there.

Add The Overlay In TikTok LIVE Studio, OBS Studio, Meld Studio, Or Streamlabs

Once you’ve copied the overlay URL, add it to your streaming software.

In TikTok LIVE Studio, add it as a link source.

In OBS Studio, Meld Studio, or Streamlabs, add it as a browser source.

Once added, the overlay will appear on your stream and show viewers what gifts or actions they can use to control the game.
