TikTok Super Fan is a paid monthly membership for a creator's LIVE community. It costs $9.99 USD per month or the local equivalent and sits on top of TikTok's activity-based Fan Club system.
A Super Fan gets automatic Fan Club membership, a permanent Super Fan badge, faster Fan Club progression and access to extra LIVE features that the creator chooses to enable. These can include exclusive LIVEs, Super Fan-only comments, a private fan space and special Gifts.
It is not the same as TikTok Subscription. Super Fan is for LIVE. Subscription is mainly for paid videos, posts, badges, stickers and other benefits outside LIVE.
The quick answer
Super Fan: paid, monthly and built for TikTok LIVE.
Fan Club: joined by sending the Heart Me Gift during a LIVE, then levelled through watching, commenting and sending Gifts.
Subscription: paid monthly access to non-LIVE content and creator-set perks.
TikTok allows eligible creators to offer both Super Fan and Subscription. They serve different parts of the same community.

How much does TikTok Super Fan cost?
TikTok lists Super Fan at $9.99 USD per month or the equivalent in local currency. It is a renewable monthly subscription.
The price shown to a viewer may be presented in local currency. Taxes and payment-platform charges can also affect what the viewer pays and what the creator receives, so check the final price inside TikTok before subscribing.
What do Super Fans get?
TikTok groups the main benefits around identity, interaction and privileges.
Automatic Fan Club membership and faster levels
A viewer who becomes a Super Fan automatically joins that creator's Fan Club. They do not need to send the Heart Me Gift first.
New Super Fans can begin at Fan Club level 10, while existing Fan Club members receive faster progression.
A permanent Super Fan badge
The Super Fan badge stays active and identifies the member in the creator's LIVE community. TikTok also gives Super Fans special entrance effects when they join a LIVE.
Exclusive LIVE access
Creators can run a Super Fan-only LIVE or change an existing public LIVE to Super Fan-only.
TikTok also lets creators enable a preview for non-members. That preview can last for up to 60 seconds before the LIVE locks to Super Fans.
One practical limitation matters: after switching a LIVE to Super Fan-only, the creator cannot switch the same session back to public. TikTok says the LIVE must be restarted.
Super Fan-only comments and space
Creators can limit LIVE comments to Super Fans. They can also use a Super Fan space for exclusive posts, chats, polls and discussion topics.
These benefits are controlled by the creator. Paying for Super Fan does not mean every creator will use every available feature.
Special Gifts and Popular LIVE benefits
Super Fans receive access to special Gifts. TikTok says a Super Fan's Go Popular Gift counts double and is not restricted to bonus periods. The programme also includes Super Popular Gifts that count double towards the creator's Popular LIVE ranking.
Creator-set perks
Creators can add benefits such as priority multi-guest requests, priority direct messages, pinned comments, shout-outs, exclusive activities and mini-games.
Only promise perks you can deliver consistently. A simple monthly schedule is better than a long list that disappears after launch week.
Super Fan vs Fan Club vs Subscription
TikTok Fan Club
Fan Club is TikTok's activity-based LIVE loyalty system. Joining requires sending the Heart Me Gift.
Members earn points by watching the creator's LIVE, commenting and sending Gifts. Higher levels can unlock member badges, entrance spotlights, exclusive chat rooms, special Gifts and level-up celebrations.
TikTok says a member must earn points within seven days of the creator going LIVE or their fan status will pause.
TikTok Super Fan
Super Fan is the paid LIVE membership. It costs $9.99 USD per month or local equivalent and automatically includes Fan Club membership.
Choose Super Fan when the main value is happening live: private streams, restricted comments, priority participation, special LIVE Gifts and closer interaction during broadcasts.
TikTok Subscription
Subscription is the paid membership for content and perks outside LIVE. TikTok's current Creator Academy guide lists subscriber-only videos and notes, badges, up to 35 custom stickers and creator-defined perks.
Creators can choose a monthly Subscription price from TikTok's available options. TikTok currently lists a $5.99 USD default and a $2.99 to $99.99 USD monthly range, with viewers paying in local currency.
Choose Subscription when the value is mainly edited videos, posts, community updates and benefits that people can use between LIVE streams.
Can a creator use Super Fan and Subscription together?
Yes. TikTok's April 2026 Creator Academy comparison says creators can offer both.
The cleanest setup is to avoid selling the same benefit twice:
Put LIVE access, LIVE chat and real-time participation in Super Fan.
Put recorded videos, posts, notes, stickers and between-stream benefits in Subscription.
Explain that split anywhere you promote the two memberships. Viewers should know what they are paying for before they tap Subscribe.
How much do creators earn from Super Fan?
TikTok's Super Fan FAQ says creators can receive up to 50% of TikTok's Super Fan revenue after payment processing fees. Its April 2026 comparison describes this as 50% of net revenue after an iOS or Google platform payment fee of 15ā30%.
That does not mean the creator automatically receives half of the viewer's gross $9.99. TikTok says the exact reward depends on multiple factors, including the number of subscribers.

How does Subscription payout compare?
TikTok's June 2026 Creator Academy guide says Subscription creators receive 70% of revenue after app-store fees.
Creators may receive an additional 20% monthly reward, bringing the maximum profit share to 90%, when they meet TikTok's criteria. The current criteria include:
more than 10,000 followers;
more than 100,000 video views in the previous calendar month;
compliance with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; and
the required number of valid subscriber-only videos during the month.
TikTok evaluates bonus eligibility each month. This Subscription payout does not replace the separate Super Fan reward structure.
How to set up Super Fan
TikTok does not publish one universal Super Fan eligibility threshold for every market. Feature access can vary by account and region.
For an eligible LIVE creator:
Open TikTok Studio and go to LIVE Center.
Open Fan Club and look for the Super Fan controls.
Review the available Super Fan features and rewards information for your account.
Set a realistic Super Fan goal.
Decide which exclusive LIVE, comment, space and custom benefits you can maintain.
Test the member experience before promoting it during a public LIVE.
If the Super Fan option is missing, update TikTok and check again inside LIVE Center. Its absence can mean the feature is not enabled for that account or region.
How to set up TikTok Subscription
TikTok's current setup path is:
Open your profile and tap the menu.
Tap TikTok Studio.
Open the Monetization tab.
Scroll to Monetization Programs.
Select Subscription.
Tap Join Subscription and complete TikTok's eligibility steps.
Subscription members can cancel at any time. Creators manage their package from the Subscription section below their profile bio.
A sensible membership plan for LIVE creators
Start with one repeatable promise for each programme.
For Super Fan, that might be one private after-show each week plus priority questions during public LIVEs. For Subscription, it might be one detailed recorded tutorial and one update post each month.
Write those promises down, schedule them and review whether people use them. Do not build the offer around vague access or a list of perks that cannot be sustained.
