What you’ll need
A TikTok account able to go LIVE.
TikFinity installed and logged in.
One of: TikTok LIVE Studio, OBS Studio, Streamlabs, or Meld Studio.
Your stream’s desktop/system audio captured so viewers can hear sounds and TTS.
Tip: In your streaming software, make sure “Desktop/System Audio” is added and set to the same speakers/headset you actually hear sound from. If you can hear it, viewers can hear it.
1) Install & connect TikFinity
Install TikFinity using the affiliate link above (new users get a Pro discount).
In TikFinity, go to Setup → Account and confirm your TikTok username.
Go to Setup → TikTok Login and sign in so TikFinity can see gifts/subs/events from your live.
2) Text-to-Speech for supporters (TTS Chat)
Goal: Only gifters/subscribers (optionally mods) can trigger TTS—that’s a strong incentive.
In TikFinity, open TTS Chat and Enable it.
Who can use it: set to Gifters and Subscribers (add Mods if you like).
Trigger: e.g., Comment starts with “.”
Tell your audience: “Supporters can type . your message to have it read aloud.”
Voice: pick something fun (e.g., Ghostface) and test with the built-in tester.
Template: include the sender’s name so you can respond without looking at chat.
Example: {nickname} says: {message} (use TikFinity’s variables in the template field).
Audio routing: confirm your streaming software is capturing desktop/system audio.
Why it works: Viewers love hearing their message on stream. Making it supporter-only gently nudges gifts and subs.
3) Sound Alerts mapped to specific gifts
Goal: A sound effect fires for particular gifts—great fun, highly visible.
Go to Sound Alerts and Enable it.
Click Create Sound Alert → Select Sound (use the built-in meme library or Upload your own).
Choose the TikTok gift the sound should be tied to (e.g., Donut → KEKW, TikTok → Vine Boom).
Press the Play icon to test.
Ensure desktop/system audio is captured in your streaming software.
Why it works: A gift that makes something happen is far more tempting than a gift with no feedback.
4) Show viewers what to send with the Interaction Slider (overlay)
Goal: Remove guesswork. This on-screen overlay lists gifts and what each one triggers.
In TikFinity, open Overlay Gallery → Interaction Slider.
It automatically pulls from Sound Alerts and Actions & Events you’ve created.
Click Copy URL.
Add it to your streaming software:
TikTok LIVE Studio: Sources → Link → paste URL → set a sensible size (e.g., height ~250 px) → Add.
OBS Studio/Streamlabs: Sources → Browser → paste URL → set width/height → OK.
Position it where it’s visible but not intrusive, then lock the source.
Why it works: Clear “menu of interactions” = more gifts, fewer confused viewers.
5) Actions & Events for visual rewards (e.g., show a picture)
Goal: Make distinct visual moments for specific gifts (stickers, memes, photos, etc.).
Open Actions & Events.
Action: create one (e.g., Show Picture) and choose the image you want on screen.
Event: choose a gift (e.g., Sunglasses) and assign the action.
This will also appear on the Interaction Slider automatically.
Why it works: Visual gags tied to gifts are memorable and shareable.
6) Gift Goal / Counter overlay (e.g., “Pet Food” Rose goal)
Goal: Explain why the gift matters (transparent goals convert better).
Go to Gift Overlays → choose Gift Counter.
Pick the gift (e.g., Rose) and set a goal (e.g., 1,000).
Title it clearly, e.g., “Pet Food”.
Optional: set behaviour when goal is reached (e.g., auto-double).
Customise fonts/colours to match your brand.
Copy URL and add as a Link/Browser source (try 300×300 and adjust).
Place and lock it on your scene.
Why it works: People are more likely to gift when they know what they’re contributing to.
7) Subathon Timer overlay (time extends with gifts & subs)
Goal: Viewers buy more time on stream—classic creator-support mechanic.
Open Timer and set a Default duration (e.g., 30 minutes).
Configure Add time per gift (e.g., +1s per coin such as a Rose) and per subscriber (e.g., +360s).
Optional: set an Action for when the timer hits zero (e.g., “End stream” or “Switch scene”).
Copy URL and add as a Link/Browser source (e.g., 200×100).
Start the timer when you go live.
Tuning for income: Choose the seconds-per-gift/sub to roughly meet your target hourly income (e.g., £/$20 per hour). If gifts slow down, the timer runs out—viewers quickly grasp that gifting keeps the show going.
8) Let viewers control your game (plugins & keyboard control)
Goal: Tie gifts to real gameplay effects—peak entertainment.
Options in TikFinity include:
Minecraft Java plugin (e.g., Rose spawns a creeper, higher-value gifts trigger big events).
GTA (Chaos-style) mods via TikFinity triggers.
Keyboard Control plugin (works with virtually any game): map gifts to key presses or combos.
How to set it up (general pattern):
Install/enable the relevant TikFinity plugin.
Map specific gifts to in-game actions (or key presses).
Test offline, then go live and showcase it on the Interaction Slider so viewers know the effects.
Adding overlays in each streaming app (quick reference)
TikTok LIVE Studio
Sources → Link → Paste the TikFinity overlay URL.
Set width/height, Add.
Position and Lock.
Ensure System/desktop audio is set to the device you hear sound from.
OBS Studio / Streamlabs
Sources → Browser → URL (paste).
Set width/height (adjust until it looks right).
Position and Lock.
Confirm Desktop Audio is active and meters are moving when you test a sound/TTS.
Meld Studio
Add a Browser/Link source.
Paste the overlay URL, size and place it.
Verify desktop audio capture.
Best-practice tips (to maximise conversions)
Tell them the trigger. Pin a chat comment and add on-screen text: “Supporters: . your message for TTS.”
Use the Interaction Slider. It teaches gifts at a glance.
Set cooldowns/limits. Prevent spammy repeats on sounds and actions.
Brand the overlays. Custom fonts/colours build recognition and trust.
Reward subscribers. Give subs TTS access, bonus time on the timer, or unique sounds.
Test before you go live. Fire a few test events to confirm audio levels and overlay visibility.
Troubleshooting
No TTS/sounds on stream: Your streaming app isn’t capturing desktop/system audio or it’s set to the wrong output device. Fix the device, then retest.
Overlay invisible: Wrong URL, behind another source, or the scene is different to the one live. Check source order and scene.
Gifts not triggering: Confirm you’re logged in within TikFinity, the event is mapped to the correct gift, and you’re actually live on the account you connected.
Echo/feedback: You’re capturing the same audio twice (e.g., desktop audio + TikFinity source with audio). Mute one path.
