How To Make An Interactive TikTok LIVE - TikFinity For Phone Streamers

Let's set up an interactive phone stream to help increase engagement in your TikTok LIVE.


Requirements

  1. Windows PC or Apple Mac. Including laptops. Even low-performance devices should work.

  2. TikFinity. Windows: Desktop App. Mac: Website.

  3. OBS Studio. Free download.

Stream Setup


In TikFinity add your username on the setup page after logging in. Also, link your TikTok down the page. After going live, press the connect button on the start page.


In OBS, after going live right-click the canvas area and choose full-screen projector.


But of course, before we go live we should set up TikFinity so we can get more gifts and views.


Let's look at some example uses of TikFinity.


Sound Alerts


Let's play a fart sound for every rose. Make sure your phone mic is picking up your computer speakers.


  1. Click on Sound Alerts.

  2. Choose a gift trigger. I'll choose rose.

  3. Choose a sound from the library or upload your own. I'll choose fart.

It's that simple.


TTS Chat


It is possible for TikFinity to read out loud every chat message. However, I suggest you only let subs and gifters use it.


Simply go to the TTS Chat page and copy these settings.


Consider scrolling down and adding "{username} says {comment}" too.

Screen Background


Let's set up OBS now. First, we need a background otherwise it's just gonna be a black background when nothing is happening.


  1. Click add source.

  2. Choose media source or image.

  3. Find the file location. If its a video, set it to loop.

  4. Click add and click on it under the source list if you wish to resize it.


Top Gifters


It is super easy to add top gifters.

  1. In TikFinity, click on Overlay Gallery.

  2. Find the Top Gifers section.

  3. Click test to see what it looks like then click customize to change it.

  4. Copy URL.

  5. Inside OBS, click Add Source and choose Browser.

  6. Name it Top Gifters.

  7. Paste in the URL and choose dimensions. Try 500 x 1080.

  8. Shutdown source when not visible and press OK.

You now have top gifters on screen!


Play Video For Specific Gift


Let's play a video of a Lion when we get a Lion gift.


  1. In TikFinity, click on Actions/Events.

  2. Create new action.

  3. Give it a name and choose Play Video. Don't use the YT option its too buggy.

  4. Upload your video.

  5. Scroll down and change the duration to the video length +1

  6. Repeat with gift combos. Other default options are fine. Ignore the error.

  7. Create new event.

  8. Sending a specific gift, choose Lion.

  9. Choose the Lion action.

  10. Other defaults are fine, save the event.

  11. Scroll down and increase queue size of screen 1 to 1K.

  12. Copy screen 1 URL.

  13. In OBS, click Add Source and choose browser.

  14. Paste in the link and choose the dimensions of the video.

  15. Shut down source when not visible and press OK.

You're now done. On the actions/events page click the play icon next to the action to test. Or at the bottom use the event simulator.


Show Picture For Gift Range


We will show a picture for every gift 1K or higher (other than Lion if we also add the above example).


  1. In TikFinity, click on Actions/Events.

  2. Create new action.

  3. Give it a name and choose Show Picture.

  4. Upload your picture.

  5. Scroll down and change the duration to be however long you want the pic on screen.

  6. Repeat with gift combos.

  7. Set it to Screen 2. Other default options are fine. Ignore the error.

  8. Create new event.

  9. Sending a gift with min coin values. Type 1K.

  10. Choose the picture action.

  11. Other defaults are fine, save the event.

  12. Scroll down and increase queue size of screen 2 to 1K.

  13. Copy screen 2 URL.

  14. In OBS, click Add Source and choose browser.

  15. Paste in the link and choose the dimensions of the picture.

  16. Shut down source when not visible and press OK.

Now you have a picture showing for any 1K+ gift and a video just for the Lion. If you want them to go into a shared queue then just put the picture on screen 1. Watch the video above for more info.


Goals For Likes, Coins, Follows etc


This is really easy to add.

  1. Head to the Goal Overlay page.

  2. Customise any goal you want.

  3. Click Copy URL.

  4. In OBS, click Add Source and choose Browser.

  5. Name the source and paste in the URL of the goal bar.

  6. Try 800 width and 125 height.

  7. Shut down source when not visible and press OK.

Don't forget you can click on your new goal bar to resize it or change the dimension settings.


Other Options


Consider these customisations too.

  • Add names and pictures of new followers or subs. Guide here.

  • Let viewers control your Spotify. Guide here.

  • Let viewers control your smart devices such as lights. Guide here.
