TikControl lets you import and export your settings, which is useful if you want to share your setup with another streamer, move settings between profiles, or import a setup from TikFinity.
This is especially helpful for TikTok LIVE streamers who use actions, events, alerts, sounds, or interactive features and want to avoid setting everything up manually again.
Where To Find the Import and Export Settings in TikControl
Start on the TikControl homepage.
Scroll across the main options until you find Profiles, then click Manage Profile.
This is where TikControl keeps the import and export tools. From this section, you can import from TikFinity, export your TikControl setup, or import a setup using a shared code.
How To Import a TikFinity Setup Into TikControl
One of the import options in TikControl is Import from TikFinity.
Before using this, you need to export your setup from TikFinity first. In TikFinity, go to the setup page and find the Import and Export SettingsĀ section. Export the TikFinity profile or settings you want to move into TikControl.
Once you have your TikFinity export file, return to TikControl and choose Import from TikFinity.
Select your TikFinity file, then choose whether you want to import it into a new profile or an existing profile. After choosing the profile, click Import.
Once the import is complete, check the relevant section inside TikControl to make sure everything has worked correctly. For example, if you imported actions and alerts, go to Alerts and Actions. If you imported sounds, check the sound section instead.
How To Export Your TikControl Settings
You might want to export your TikControl setup if you want to share it with a friend, move settings between profiles, or save a setup for later.
Inside Manage Profile, click Export.
TikControl will let you choose what you want to include in the export. For example, you may only want to export your actions and events. In that case, uncheck anything you do not want to include, then keep the relevant actions and events selected.
When you are ready, click Generate Code.
TikControl will create a code for your exported setup. You can copy this code and share it with whoever needs to import the setup.
How To Import TikControl Settings Using a Code
To import a TikControl setup from someone else, go back to Manage ProfileĀ and click Import.
Paste the shared code into the import box. You can usually do this quickly with Control + VĀ on Windows.
After pasting the code, click Search.
TikControl should locate the shared setup. Once it has found it, click ImportĀ to apply the settings.
After importing, check the relevant area of TikControl to confirm that everything has been added correctly. For example, if you imported actions, open the ActionsĀ page and make sure they are now showing.
Important Tip for Actions
TikControl also has a global option for actions, so depending on how you use profiles, you may not always need to export and import actions between different profiles.
However, the import and export tools are still very useful when you want to share a setup with someone else or move a specific configuration into another profile.
